March 14, 1999 (From Japan) A visit to Japan part 3 : We had a night out with Sugano's friends, and Taiki had a ceremony (Tanka) that is usually done on the 1st Birthday but since we were in the USA......(The ceremony has the child select items from a table, the order in which selected determines the childs lifelong attributes, Taiki picked the Abacus first (Strong math skills) then the Shami Sen (Okinawan guitar like thinggy, showing a musical interest)
